Review policy

Last updated October 4, 2026

How reviews work

Only people who completed a sale can review it. The buyer and seller review each other after the sale, and again in a follow-up months later. Reviews are double-blind: neither side sees the other's review until both are in or the review period ends, and then they can't be changed.

Reviews are never paid for or rewarded, and sellers can't remove reviews.

When we remove a review

Only when it breaks this policy:

  • Abuse, threats, hate or harassment.
  • Personal information such as addresses or phone numbers.
  • Content unrelated to the sale.
  • Reviews written by someone involved in the business, or in exchange for something.

Disagreeing with a review

Reply publicly with your side of the story. A review you disagree with isn't removed for that reason alone. Both sides are told when a review is removed, and why.
