I can't take card payments
Buy now or Request a payment isn't available, or card payments stopped working.
- Open Money › Payments. What does Card payments say? - Not set up: choose Set up payments with Stripe. See Connect Stripe to take card payments. - Stripe needs more information: choose Continue setup with Stripe and finish what Stripe asks for. Card payments pause until you do. - Being reviewed: Stripe is checking your details. This usually clears by itself.
- Are you the account owner? Only the owner can set up payments. Team members need the orders area to ask buyers for money.
- Is your account restricted? Your Verification page says so, with the reason.
- Buy now missing from the listing form? It needs active card payments, and some kinds of animal can't be sold by buy now.
- Deposits missing on a stock listing request? Turn on Deposits for that listing under When buyers inquire or apply.
- Still stuck? Check your Stripe Dashboard for messages from Stripe, then contact support.
